Learn and share opportunities for innovation and growth when the winds of change usher in new perspectives, chances, and self-examination. Much as Oklahoma’s infamous tornadoes generate both gentle and severe winds impacting the state, so too have the winds of opportunity impacted our nation’s cultural landscape. While possibly destructive, winds can also usher in new opportunities that lead to stronger organizations and the development of previously unforeseen goals. The 2010 joint Annual Meeting of AASLH and the Oklahoma Museums Association will consider these ideas against the backdrop of a changing America.
