How would you classify a university letter sweater? To classify the university letter alone as a status symbol seems appropriate but there does not appear to be a category for the letter when attached to a cardigan sweater.

When using Nomenclature 3.0 to describe and index the letter sweater, I'd recommend using two terms: the term "Insignia" from Status Symbols and "Sweater" from Main Garments.
