Nomenclature 3.0 will be presented on March 29, 2012, at the Arkansas Museums Association's annual meeting in Little Rock.  The session will introduce the merits of using a structured and controlled list of object terms organized in a hierarchical classification system when indexing and cataloging human-made objects.  It will also look at the changes found in the third edition of Nomenclature and discuss ways to effectively use the book and adapt the framework to each museum's needs.
